Steven L. Schwartz Criminal Defense Attorney

I have been protecting the rights of persons accused of crimes in the Metro-Detroit area since graduation from law school in 1990. My career goal has always been to guide my clients through what is likely to be the most difficult time in their lives. Although I have an extremely busy schedule it is my practice to give each client my cell phone number so that whether they simply want to discuss their case or are in a panic they are able to reach me at any time. It is my experience that when a client wants to call me after hours they are usually extremely anxious about their case and need someone on the other end of the phone to thoroughly discuss their concerns. The same applies whether you are a prospective client or have had me representing you over the course of many years.

My background makes me proud. Besides thousands of happy clients my grandfather, Maurice Schwartz (1897-1974), was a well-known Criminal Defense Attorney in Michigan for more than fifty years. My Uncle, Howard Schwartz (1928-present), is an International Lawyer who has practiced law in Geneva, Switzerland since 1950. He was a highly respected International Law Professor at The University Of Geneva before retirement. Last but not least my father, Allen L. Schwartz (1930-present), has been a great mentor even before I went to law school. Growing up accompanying him to court as a young man I learned the law business, how to treat people and what it takes to be a highly respected professional.

It’s not a secret that I take great pride in satisfying each and every one of my clients. This will never change. Whether you need a quick consult regarding a potential matter or are already charged with a criminal offense I am here 24/7 to guide you in the right legal direction. I look forward to your call and making your situation and life easier.
